UpCode award winner in California
20/03/08 -- UpCode was awarded with the first place in the global mobile
competition held in San José, California
The winning award was given for UpCode automatic mobile parking-payment-control solution.
Utilizing an intelligent 2 D barcode and a corresponding intelligent reader (not only decoding) parking fees and payment can be automated and completely handled by a standard mobile phone.
A truly new mobile functionality with huge savings for consumers – and also improving life – plus investments- and implementation savings for parking companies.
The solution is going into operation in several countries.
UpCode technology with different applications is utilized in 30 countries and expected to spread to close to 100 during 2008.
